No Child Left Behind requires each state to submit to the Federal government an Accountability Workbook. The “Accountability Workbook” is a written Agreement Between State Education Agencies and the U. S. Department of Education in which each individual state outlines how student progress toward proficiency in language arts and mathematics is identified. State Accountability Report Cardhttp://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/ac/sc/ No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requires an annual statewide summary report of student assessment results, high school graduation rates, teacher qualifications, and other indicators.
